Jill has been practicing in the mental health field for over 17 years. She received her MSW degree from Augsburg College and the University of Bristol, UK. Jill's experience includes both outpatient clinical services and supervision for new clinicians. Her approach in therapy includes a client centered focus with structural and systemic models. Her special interests include: adoption, attachment, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), grief & loss, multicultural competency, and international policy/practice. Jill is an approved supervisor for the Minnesota Boards of Social Work, and Behavioral Health and Therapy.
Michael received his Bachelor of Science degree in Business from the Carlson School of Management at the University of Minnesota, then spent 20 years as a successful business professional with a Fortune 500 company. Seeing and recognizing the tremendous impact of personal relationships on individual, career, and home lives, and the intersection of their challenges and stressors, he then completed his Master’s degree in Marriage & Family Therapy, to work directly with individuals and couples from a relational perspective. Mike's special interests include: attachment, marriage/family relationship issues, and trauma, including training in EMDR for treatment of trauma in both children and adults.Mike's personal interests include music, photography, and world travel.
