Internships / Practicums

Therapy Connections offers internships/practicums to Master’s level MSW/MA interns each year. Our training and supervision offers the opportunity for development as a mental health professional. Our program offers direct clinical experience related to development of clinical skills providing individual and family therapy/skills/training. In addition, treatment planning, diagnostic assessment skills, and clinically-appropriate charting skills are developed utilizing state-of-the-art electronic charting software.

Licensed Outpatient Therapists are responsible for providing individual, couple, and/or family therapy to assigned clients. Mental Health Practitioners are responsible for providing Children’s Therapeutic Services and Supports (CTSS) services to assigned clients, under the direction and supervision of a licensed professional. Creation and timely maintenance of documentation in client charts is required, as is attendance at staff meetings and individual/group supervision.  This position provides an excellent opportunity for individuals to develop and hone their professional skills in the provision of mental health services.  Individual and group supervision, to maximize Practitioner’s professional skills development, is an integral part of our company practice and philosophy.
